Alta Badia: Colfosco
Protected
by the imposing massif of the Sella and by the Sassongher Mountain, Colfosco
is placed in the southern end of the Puez-Odle natural park; it is the
highest inhabited centre of the whole Val Badia (mt. 1645 osl).
The main characteristic of this enchanting village is its gothic church
dating back to the 1420. Thanks to its sweet springs and the mild sunny
summers, Colfosco is a favourite destination for tourist.
The
ability to preserve its alpine typical features while gradually turning
into a well know holiday destination is another pleasant characteristic
of the place: Colfosco offers the most up to date solutions without letting
them spoil the wonderful environment.
