Beautiful mountains, wonderful ski slope, enchanting paths... welcome in Alta Badia, where sport reigns the whole year round.

Winter
In winter white is the dominant colour. White are the ski slope (more than 130 km of wonderful slopes), where skiers and snowboarders can spend hours and hours. White are the cross-country ski slopes, that witnessed the first triumphs of Maria Canins 'the flying mom' a real and proper symbol of the sport of this valley. The white of the sledge slopes or the transparent whites of the ice-skating trail... you just have to choose!
The Alta Badia is the birth place of sport champions: from Maria Canins, winner of almost all the most important cross country ski competitions country, to Ivo Rudiferia and Marion Posch, snowboard champions, not to mention the ski champions. In Alta Badia they have always found the ideal environment to train, that same environment which is at disposal to all the amateurs with no agonistic ambitions whatsoever.

Summer
During the summer, in Alta Badia, the only limit is fantasy! Hundreds of kilometres of off road paths offer the mountain bike amateurs an endless fun!
The mythical dolomites passes, set of the most memorable of the achievements of the Giro d'Italia, are really close and offer to the amateurs the chance to compete with the same itineraries of the greatest champions: Coppi, Bugno, Chiappucci, Pantani...
Enchanting mountains are the ideal launching pad for the hang-glider lovers, whilst these same mountains are ready to be climbed by free-climbers (who, to train, can also count on an artificial wall). But there is more! Golf amateurs can enjoy themselves thanks to one of the highest green in Europe, a wonderful 9 holes at the foot of the majestic Sella massif. And the horse riding lovers could promenade along beautiful paths, the tennis lovers enjoy the fields, the swimmers the swimming pools, either out-doors or in-doors... and if your favorite sport is not listed above, do not worry but get in touch with the local tourist information bureau. They will give you all the information about your favourite sport and where to practice it.
